How Fast?

The Joys of Bittorrent

Now that I have internet, some exploration was in order.

Bittorrent, of course, was a natural path, as I'd never tried it before, and it was supposed to be, like, fast and all.

Was it ever. How sweet it is to choose a piece of media you want to get, start the dl, go to bed, and have the dl done by the time you wake up! TEH Awesomeness! :)

It is the age of media. When all man wants to do is express himself and record the act of expression for posterity. I see a time in the future when all our lives will be recorded. All 24 hours. And we can view whichever hour we want instantly.

What happens when EVERYTHING can be saved for posterity and NOTHING is lost to time. what happens then?

What happens when all media is available to anyone for free, at any time, instantly, and the attribute of KNOWLEDGE is no longer a variable?

If you have the capacity to KNOW everything, what then would dictate morality? Or what is "best" for everyone?

If everyone could read everyone,

firewalls would be the battleground of the future.
